International Chamber Artists (ICA) is pleased to announce its 2017-18 concert series. The events survey a wide range of chamber works, including classic chamber masterpieces, contemporary American composers, a special family concert, and a world premiere commission.

​

All ICA concerts are free, with a recommended $15 donation to support the non-profit organization and continue brining chamber music to our community.

Johann Sebastian Bach had 20 children! Hear Bach’s influence on his son Carl Phillip Emmanuel Bach. The bass flute makes a rare appearance in a memorable work by David Bruce. Goddess-inspired Persephone by ICA favorite Jim Stephenson features 13 players on an exploratory search for what “might have happened” before Copland’s iconic Appalachian Spring.​

I wrote my contrasting and vigorous Piano Quintet in a fit of inspiration for my virtuoso wife to premiere.”
